Above: Our teammates took this picture while flying to another village...if you enlarge it you can see our family (near the blue car by the river) waving.
The past few weeks have been cold and rainy...so when Sunday was somewhat sunny we took advantage of it and walked along the Yukon looking for driftwood.
Below: I {heart} BTranslation: I LOVE BRADLEY!

We just got our yearly groceries from the barge and Ruthie was helping me put everything away...after I told her multiple times to organize the cereal by height (those who know me can attest to this OCD issue) she said with emotion, "Mommy, you're oppressive to me!"

Lately Ruthie's been calling herself "Madelyn" and has been copying exactly what I do, which is sweet. Well, at dinner last night I was really thirsty and guzzled my water for several seconds. I looked at Ruthie (noticing she was copying me) and she said with deep breaths, "Please stop drinking..." I guess she couldn't keep up with me. :)
Naomi's been doing a great job memorizing verses. I love it when she sings Proverbs 3:5 randomly throughout the day.

I heard fighting going on between the girls and went to check it out. When I asked Naomi what happened she said Ruthie took her "pretend ball." I told her to just pretend up a new ball but she wouldn't have it. Then Ruthie promptly reminded me she was not going to return the pretend ball to her sister. As they are telling me this both were holding their hands out in front of them holding their "pretend balls." At first I wasn't sure if I should treat this situation as if both were holding real balls, and proceeded in doing such. Ruthie consented her pretend ball and Nae was happy again. Ruthie committed to not doing that awful act again...then she grabbed her pretend ball (which I might add was right next to her, how did I miss that?). Ah, harmony between sisters once again. :)
