Brad had a great idea last Sunday after church...he thought we should go roast hotdogs at the beach along the Yukon. It was so fun and we enjoyed watching the girls get dirty and muddy.
Usually after church potluck the girls and some friends (all boys) go outside to play. They usually end up playing hunter/caribou. It's where all the boys are hunters and my precious girls are the caribou...you can see where this is going. The girls never have a chance! They are "killed" pretty early in the game, but they love it!
After dinner we all take a 1 1/2 mile walk...the girls have done a great job running most of the way. I wish I could post a video of Naomi's moving her arms wildly and trying to keep up with Sister. Our internet is slow so I can't post videos very well...sorry grandparents.
It's been stormy and cold here lately but the other night it was warm and beautiful. We put the girls down and before Brad left Nae said, "Turn the light off Daddy!" She wasn't used to the sun being out at that time.
Nae sometimes sings, "The three Persons of God are the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit..." It's from her catechism CD. It's just random a two year old would sing about the Trinity but I like it.
Nae's been chatting more and more lately...the other morning she was walking around saying, "Obey your parents in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding." Hmm...interesting combination of verses but I guess it's applicable. :)
