We found high bush cranberries and rosehips behind our house. An elder made me some rosehip jelly and the girls love it.
When we go for our evening walks it takes us a longer time lately because Ruthie now knows what low bush cranberries look like and she points them out to us along the way. That means we have to stop and munch on a few before heading forward again. :)
Below: A friend invited me to go berry picking (for low bush cranberries, much sweeter than high bush). She also informed me about how delicious clover is...I munched on clover most of the time.

We went berry picking one evening with the girls...at the end Ruthie had a pretty full bag while Nae had only a few in her bag. When we got home I realized where Nae had put all her cranberries...I won't go into detail. ;)
