A Pajama Day ~

Ruthie's been such a help around the house. She enjoys doing dishes and took Nae's bday tea set and washed it.
This morning it was a lot colder (nearly 60 below) but I forgot to take a picture of the thermometer. This picture was taken in the late afternoon as it warmed up a bit.
"Being joyful in the midst of hardship shows the worthiness of Christ." Bradley Fox
It's been an eventful morning here in the Bush. The toilet was frozen this morning (again), the shower pipes are frozen, our car just broke down at lunch, Brad is substitute teaching all day, our daughters are exhibiting the affects of cabin fever (as am I), our propane is frozen (so no use of the oven), the kitchen/bathroom sink pipes are still frozen, and a boy from the high school is coming tonight to stay with us for a week (it's a long story). When my Love came home from lunch his response to all this mayhem was, "God is still good." I'll be honest and admit my response wasn't nearly as Christ-glorifying. BUT I'm thankful for his example to me in honoring Christ amidst difficult times.
A couple days ago my friend came over for a trim...I prayed a lot since I've never cut anyone's hair before (besides my daughters).
Naomi was complaining about wanting a toy her sister had...I talked to her about everything belonging to God and we are just stewards of what's been given...she then said, "Well, when Jesus is done, can I have it?"
Brad's been doing a weekly family Bible study (provided through Brooke Hills Church). The girls have enjoyed the coloring sheets at the end of each lesson.
