Sixty Degrees Warmer ~

The last few days have been warm...23 degrees above zero! It's funny to think it is sixty degrees warmer than two weeks ago.
Before taking Brad to work at the school, Naomi said, "We take Daddy to the school then we should go to church. That's a good idea Momma! We go to church. That's a good idea!"
Brad's been going to open gym about twice a week. Our neighbor invited him and it's been nice for him to get to know some guys in the village.
We gathered enough snow to make "snow ice cream." It was good but nothing can beat a good bowl of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream.
The girls love their new friend Xili Bess. Even though they haven't met her yet, they talk about her like they have. One time Nae said she wants Xili Bess to come over and she will share her toys with Xili. Ruthie also said, "If Xili Bess came over I would run to her and hold her and love her." :)
One morning I woke up to Ruthie's sad voice saying, "I want to go to Montana! I miss Montana!"

We picked Brad up from subbing and while he approached the car Naomi said, "There's handsome daddy!"
Sometimes after we put the girls to bed I realize that most of my friends and family are either sleeping already or headed to bed.

Our teammates, Martin and Silke, planned on going to a nearby village for ministry but the weather was too bad today. They might try again next week. The SEND plane doesn't fly in anything colder than 20 below so if they aren't able to use the plane before the new year the guys (Brad included) might head to other villages by snow-go.

Below: Martin and Brad took this Saturday to look for dead spruce.

Naomi woke up Saturday morning at 2am vomiting, so the girls and I spent most of the weekend inside. On Sunday afternoon we were ready to get outside! We took a snow-go ride around the village to get some fresh air.
