Above: My new piano...thanks Mom and Dad! I love it! I'm trying to teach myself to play the piano...it's going good so far. I've learned a couple hymns and hopefully I (or a DVD) can teach the girls how to play someday.
We ordered a sled via Amazon but it won't get here for a few weeks...SO my amazing husband rigged our storage bin to do the job. The girls are a little crammed, but they seem not to mind.
Our friend had a meeting in a small village south of us...his wife told us his ticket cost more money than a flight to Africa! It's crazy how expensive it is to fly around here!
During our dinners we go over a godly character trait. Last night was respect. Brad talked to the girls about opening up doors for the elderly. We gave them situations where "old people" were coming up behind them and how they should hold the door open for them. Then Nae started rambling and said with kindness, "When Papa comes behind me, I open the door for Papa." So, sorry Dad...we were trying not to use names, but apparently Nae sees you as an "elderly old person." :)
Interesting sidenote: Apparently you can buy new and used gum on Amazon. To be perfectly honest, I'm a bit nit-picky with the kind of gum I chew, so I'm willing to flex and pay the extra $2 for unchewed gum...but that's just me! :)
