During a normal weekday Brad will go out looking for driftwood...we still need seven cords of firewood to heat our house this winter.

Some days the girls and I will go with him to get out of the house.

The girls usually play with driftwood and sand while Brad cuts the wood. I man the bear spray and read my book. :)

Below: The view from behind our house...a good portion of the leaves have already fallen from the trees back there.

Below: A snowhare that lives behind our house.

Brad's been meeting every Thursday morning with a guy who is interested in the Gospel, but not yet willing to surrender his life to Christ. Most Thursday nights we have him over for dinner and then go for a walk afterwards. He seems so close to believing, but we are once again reminded that God is the One who saves and we need to trust Him.

Brad substitute teaches about twice a week which has been good for getting to know some youth in the village.
