From Anchorage to Fairbanks ~

Scenario: Ruthie had just let out a huge scream of annoyance at Naomi for taking her book

Ruthie (toward Nae): Grrrr!

Ruthie (after grabbing her book back violently, began singing): They will know we are Christians by our love, by our love, yes they'll know we are Christians by our love!

This song has become Ruth and Naomi's favorite while on this trip...as you can see, the implications of this song are still being worked on.

While in Anchorage our mission organization provided us with a lovely apartment, as seen below.

The girls love watching the planes take off and land on the lake here.
Ruthie got sick while in the car (Sophie her baby was one of the recipients, as well as her carseat, the back of Brad's seat, the floor underneath her, etc.). She's doing much better now, praise the Lord.
Nae's comment after Ruthie's episode was this: "Mommy! Ruthie's spitting, Ruthie's spitting! But I no spit, I no spit!"

Below: Ruthie hanging out with another MK.

We went to Denali National Park while en route to Fairbanks.
Below: The girls holding up their park ranger trail guide.
This moose was weird because it was totally grey.

Below: We finally saw a grizzly. This grizzly had a cub but you can't really see it behind the brush. Now all we need to see is a wolf.

A camp in Fairbanks provides two free nights at their cabins for missionaries. It was a blessing.
This particular cabin was really nice! It had a loft that the girls loved playing in.

The girls also had fun watching and petting the horses at the camp.
