Michigan Church Interview ~

We took a quick trip to Michigan this last week to interview with a church up there.
It was 21 below when we left home. Above: As you can see, the girls can't really see out their windows. That whole day the van's windows never did completely thaw to see outside.
Below: My view was somewhat limited. At least the driver could see. :)

We stayed with Brad's sister and her family while we were there. The girls loved playing with all their cousins.

A conversation Brad and I overheard from the girls while traveling:
Ruthie: Naom? What do you want to be when you grow up? A mommy or a daddy?
Naomi: A dadda.
Ruthie: A daddy? Why not a mommy like me?
Naomi [pondering]: Umm...a mommy!

Maddy had a basketball practice we attended...Nae was dressed for the part with her sweat band.

One morning we found Ruthie screaming, "Nae's on my bed! Nae's on my bed!" The ironic part was that Ruthie was laying in Naomi's bed with her.

It was fun to see Brad's cousin.

Brandon and Aum, missionaries to Thailand.

We went to Brad's brother's house for dinner one night...Amber made homemade noodles.

Grandma Cheryl with all her grandkids (minus the one in Amber's belly). :)

Maddy did Ruthie's hair for her basketball game.

Matthew's funny statement: Where's the new Mad? (There were two Mad's there and I was the "new Mad")

Maddy did a great job at her basketball game...she's a good defender and stole the ball a few times.

A tea party with cousins.
