Going on a Bear Hunt ~

There's a book the girls enjoy reading called "We're Going on a Bear Hunt." Whenever we go for a walk or to the park we'll recite that book, hence the blog title. :)
It was finally warm enough to have a picnic at the park.
Nae is pretty independent. She enjoyed carrying her breadstick all around the park and discovering things.
She would come back every once in awhile for a taste of the delicious pizza.

Ruthie likes to play frisbee. I can't wait till the girls are older so we can play a family game of Ultimate Frisbee!

We kinda like the idea of having a tennis court in our backyard so the girls can play safely, yet be locked inside with no escape (for their safety)...oh, and with padded walls for safety...oh, and softer flooring too. :) Does such a place exist?

We like rolling down hills.

After the park we went to a free petting zoo.

Naomi kept trying to kiss the lamb.

Ironic: There were llamas, sheep, baby calves, bunnies, etc at this petting zoo. And yes, chickens. Ruthie didn't even take a second glance at all those cute animals but went straight to the chickens (the gross, uncuddly, smelly chickens). And she wanted to be around the chickens the whole time! I tried convincing her that baby calves are really adorable and cuddly, but she would have none of it...she wanted to hold that white chicken!
