Silliness ~

Yes, our girls are eating tomatoes! They eat them like apples!
I dressed the girls in Bronco attire and then Brad took them out to play some ball.
So, Lowe family, I have a confession to make: I am now a Bears fan! Yes, you read this right. Please don't hold it against me. I've decided that since my handsome husband is a Bears fan maybe I too should follow his lead. I mean, at least now I'll have an AFC and an NFC favorite...also, take note that both teams color scheme is blue and orange. This is a shock to some but our family still encourages Broncos attire from time to time, so please send generously. I've been a Broncos fan so long I'm not sure how I will manage but it's either me or Brad, and I must submit. Steve, feel free to call me anytime with counseling. :)
The girls enjoy dress up time.
My three favorite people!
Bedhead hair.
Brad made the girls a smoothie after naptime...
...and it made them smile.

Ruthiebelle's Birthday ~

We can't believe our little beauty is already three years old!
It was neat to send an action pack to Sudan on her birthday. She was excited to head to the post office to send it.
Ruthie asked for a horse cake...and of course it had to be pink. I was hoping she would say a brown horse because I like chocolate frosting. ;)
Ruthie's blowing out her candle but it kinda looks like she's thinking [a dejected breath in and out] "Oh...I was hoping for a cow cake Mama..."
"...but I'll smile and act excited because I know she spent so much time working on it." :)

Ruthie's favorite present was a baby bassinet...
...I think it was Grandma's favorite too! She looks mighty surprised and joyous about the gift! :)
We had a second party for Ruthie (one for each grandparent due to time conflicts)...this time I had to make a green horse since all my red food coloring was used up on the last horse.
We took Ruthie to the Wagon Wheel for lunch so she could order her favorite: Chicken Fillet Sandwich. It's funny because Brad ends up eating most of it anyway.
The waitress brought out her fillet with a candle in it.

She's still excited about a horse cake, even a green one!
Her other favorite gift was a baby doll set (with bassinet included). Now she has a bassinet for her baby at both grandparents....wow, did they organize that perfectly or what? :)
Enjoying a birthday chocolate milk with Mama.
Grandma Cheryl got Ruthie this neat card that turns into a princess tiara.

Compilation of Photos ~

Ronda, do you remember this dress? We were organizing our storage space to get ready for whenever we leave for Alaska and I ran across my bridesmaid dress from Ronda's wedding. Ronda, it made me miss you! :)

We heard Nae scream in pain and Brad asks, "Ruthie, are you being gentle with your sister?" Her reply (somewhat mischievously), "Nae's my best friend. Are you my best friend Nae?" Nae's reply, "Ahhhhh, yeah!" She got out of that one pretty well.

What is this? Papa gets such nice treatment from his grandkids...he's taught them well!

Silly Papa!

I had a bad headache and declared rather melodramatically, "My head's about to fall off!" Ruthie asked me looking concerned, "Where is your head going Mama? Are you going to be okay?"

We've been having a bit of trouble with our youngest...once she discovered how to take her diaper off we're never sure how we'll find her or her bed after naptime. We've tried putting her in one-piece outfits (she figured that out)...we've tried the safety pin idea (she figured that out)...we've tried the duct tape method (she figured that out)...now we're out of ideas. Feel free to contact us with any further creative ideas you may have. :)

My amazing Mom!

We tried making pizzas out of tortillas one night...an okay alternative to real pizza.

Brad bought me a Mother's ring for our anniversary and it just came in.
In this picture we're attempting to run over a huge cricket...for they must die because I'm sure they'll get our address and visit us...that must never happen!
