We can't believe our little beauty is already three years old!
It was neat to send an action pack to Sudan on her birthday. She was excited to head to the post office to send it.
Ruthie asked for a horse cake...and of course it had to be pink. I was hoping she would say a brown horse because I like chocolate frosting. ;)
Ruthie's blowing out her candle but it kinda looks like she's thinking [a dejected breath in and out] "Oh...I was hoping for a cow cake Mama..."
"...but I'll smile and act excited because I know she spent so much time working on it." :)
Ruthie's favorite present was a baby bassinet...
...I think it was Grandma's favorite too! She looks mighty surprised and joyous about the gift! :)
We had a second party for Ruthie (one for each grandparent due to time conflicts)...this time I had to make a green horse since all my red food coloring was used up on the last horse.
We took Ruthie to the Wagon Wheel for lunch so she could order her favorite: Chicken Fillet Sandwich. It's funny because Brad ends up eating most of it anyway.
The waitress brought out her fillet with a candle in it.
She's still excited about a horse cake, even a green one!
Her other favorite gift was a baby doll set (with bassinet included). Now she has a bassinet for her baby at both grandparents....wow, did they organize that perfectly or what? :)
