Prefield Education, Wheaton ~

SEND International required us to attend a prefield education planning seminar in Wheaton, Illinois. Brad's parents were gracious enough to watch the girls for us (we weren't allowed to take them, I guess so we could focus on the seminar).
We ate some Chicago-style pizza...very good.

On the phone with my sis, below.
We met a couple who said they knew one family from Montana, but we "probably wouldn't know them." Come to find out my big brother was best friend's with the man the couple knew. Small world.
Stories from Wally/Cheryl's time babysitting:
1. While Cheryl was preparing mac n' cheese for dinner, Ruthie asks, "Is that the throw up food or no?" Background information: Ruthie and Brad got food poisoning a few months ago and mac n' cheese was what Ruthie threw up during that time. Apparently she wasn't phased by the memory and ate it hungrily. :)
2. Somehow in the morning Nae's out of her pack n' play. Two conclusions: Either Ruthie pushes the pack n' play on it's side to help Nae escape (that's usually how the pack n' play is found, on it's side), or Nae is climbing out. The other day she almost got out so I wouldn't be surprised if she's climbing out. We'll do some investigating tomorrow morning to make a final conclusion on the subject.

Brad and I liked how you can see the road from my sunglasses.

Another Chicago food place...good hotdogs.

On our way home we stopped in Minneapolis to visit the Mall of America. We're not big shoppers so we spent most of our time riding the roller coasters.

Eating an enjoyable breakfast of cinnamon rolls.
