Dear Grandma Cheryl,

I overheard Ruthie talking to you on the phone this morning about how good I am at walking, so I insisted my Daddy and Mommy take a video of me walking so you can see. Please disregard my sweet sister as she runs around and attempts to ruin my concentration. :)

I love and miss you, Grandma. I can't wait to be held by you next week.

Ruthie's Analytical Side ~

Conversation between Brad and Ruthie:
[Sidenote: Ruthie had just been disciplined for something]
While walking into the kitchen Brad asks nonchalantly
Brad: Ruthie, how does one change his nature?"
Ruthie looks at Brad and takes her hand and swats her behind several times
Brad: Well, I guess that's a Biblical thought but I was thinking more like being made into a new creation in Christ. :)

On our long trip to Washington:
[Sidenote: This occurred while Ruthie and Naomi were screaming due to the hours spent in the van during our trip...please refer to video in previous post to fully understand the situation] :)
Ruthie: Mama, I need something!
Mad: What do you need?
Ruthie: Something.
Mad: What something do you need?
Ruthie: A puppy.

Washington State ~

The Lord opened up several doors for us to share at a church and six small groups in Washington. We first visited my oldest brother, his wife and their cute son, Tommy, on Whidbey Island. Deception Pass and the surrounding area was lovely! We had two meetings there, and afterward traveled near Seattle to visit my other older brother and his family. We were encouraged and blessed by our family and the brothers and sisters we met there. We also got to see our good friend, Angie! It was so fun catching up with her and hearing how the Lord is working in her life. We miss you Angela!

Taste of 1600 Miles of Travel ~

Here are a few pictures taken along the way to Washington state. Ruthie is praising the Lord in one picture...very sweet. There's also a picture with Ruthie holding Naomi's hand...they see Brad and I holding hands and so I think Ruthie wants to hold hands with someone too. Washington is beautiful and so there are some pictures of the amazing mountains near Seattle area.
