Ah, the Joy of Having Daughters ~

Ruthiebell:
She saw a picture of when my brother was a baby and proclaimed proudly, "Baby Tommy!" [This brother of mine is the father of Thomas, hence the resemblance]

After she did something bad (can't remember what it was) she apologized to me, then decided to apologize to Brad, then to her baby doll, then to the chair, then to several other toys [she continued to do this because she saw how much laughter was coming from her parents] :)

I mentioned in a previous post about how Ruthie got into some Vaseline and covered herself with it...what I forgot to mention was that my twin sister and I (around the same age as Ruthie) discovered that Crisco works in somewhat a similiar fashion...my mom said she found us covered in it! I guess I can see now where Ruthie gets this from.

One time I was unfortunately in a bad mood and Ruthie came up to me and said, "Be happy Mama!" VERY good advice!

Ruthie is being potty trained and has had several "success stories" lately :)

When we went to the park the other day she wouldn't continue playing until all the garbage was put away...yet again, I can see some similiarity to me in this situation. ;)

One time I found her organizing the shoes and placing them in an orderly fashion (that's my girl!) [please see picture in previous post]

We were watching a Sunday School music video and a baby bird fell out of the tree (referring to how the Lord watches over us), and Ruthie immediately ran to me and said, "Need to pray for baby bird, hurt!"

I served tacos for dinner and Ruthie looked at her plate and said, "Whoa, whoa Mama, whoa!" I thought maybe the dinner wasn't to her satisfaction until we discovered she was telling me to "roll" her tortilla.

Naomi:
She is getting two more teeth

I love her funny faces! When Brad or I tell her to do her "funny face" she'll scrunch up her eyes and make her mouth do this cute little smile (I still have yet to get a picture of this)

The other day she stood by herself for several seconds

When we picked up Grandma Shilloy from the airport both Ruthie and Naomi held onto her arm most of the way home...guess they missed her [please see picture in previous post]

Naomi loves popsicles...probably not a good idea to get her hooked on those too early, but she's so adorable when she tries to eat them :)

This is for Grandma Cheryl: Naomi is now drinking water! ;)
