The Lord's Blessings ~

Ruthiebell:
I asked her who Jesus was and she said, "God" without me ever telling her that answer before

Naomi was in her swing and after Ruthie woke up from her nap she looked for Nae, and after finding her, took her chair and sat facing Naomi....she sat like that for a long time, just staring at her little sister and eating Cheerios (I've never seen her sit for so long)

She attempted (before I thwarted her) to let Naomi drink from her sippy cup

I told her to pick up her toys before naptime and she took her baby and used its hands to pick up the mess....very innovative and creative way to do what you're told but yet not fully do so

Ruthie's older cousin is visiting this week and I asked Ruthie if she would look up to her...Ruthie immediately looked up to the ceiling (she was trying to find Lydia up there)

Naomi's was crying when Ruthie got up from her nap, so she grabbed Nae's binkie and popped it in her sister's mouth....she looked over at us as if to say, "C'mon guys, you know this thing solves every dilemma known to babies."

One morning Brad and I accidentally slept in so Ruthie was in her bed for over an hour more than usual...when we got her up we heard her talking and playing with her stuffed bunny (it's nice knowing she's content in there)

Naomi:
She's reaching out and grabbing our hands, faces and toys (especially babies)

She's grasping her toy keys

Nae usually sleeps through the night from 9:00pm to 7:00am (we're hoping this continues every night here on out)

She was almost 15 pounds at her last check-up

She's trying to replace her binkie with her thumb
